The Paradise Problem- Christina Lauren
The book I chose to read this month is an easy breezy read that similar to your favorite romcom or hallmark movie; extremely cheesy but somehow it works. This book is centered around two people, Anna and Liam. These two decide to scheme and get married for subsidized family house while studying at UCLA. This marriage is mutually beneficial but is loveless and just a ploy for housing.
Fast forward five years later and the reader is notified that divorce papers were not signed at college graduation as presumed. Surprise, they are still married. This is a happy accident in Liam’s accord as he needs to be married for 5 years to be eligible to receive his inheritance. When Anna is introduced to his family and the two spend real time together… they become entangled and fall in love.
